  • The second bus departs time from Sharjah at 3:40 pm and reaches Sharjah at 1:10 am.

Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam - bus service!

UAE residents looking forward to catching the wild mountains and the serene waters take a bus ride from Ras Al Khaimah to directly Musandam in Oman.

Launching date

In the year 2023, and in October, a bus service started operating from the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA).

What to expect?

You can expect a traveling duration of approximately three hours and the booking can be performed online through the official website of RAKTA or via RAKBUS Application.

The ticket price cost for a way journey is only 50 AED.

Timings

You can avail of the bus on the weekends including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The timings will be from 8 AM to 6 PM during these days!

Routes - RAK to Musandam via bus

Al Dhaith South station in Ras Al Khaimah where it gets to stop in between two places within the Emirate including Shaam and Al Rams area.

In Musandan the bus will move to the Wilayat of Khasab by stopping at different places. The bus will stop at Tibaat, Wilayat of Bukha, and Qada.

Abu Dhabi to Muscat - Take the bus service

In October 2023, a bus started operating from Muscat to Abudhabi via Al Ain. You can book the tickets on the official Mwasalat website before you plan to visit Muscat, Oman. The journey will be of 5 hours.

The allowed luggage for the passengers includes:

  • 7 kg for hand baggage

Ticket price - Abu Dhabi to Musandam via bus

The one-way ticket price from Muscat to Abu Dhabi will be 109 AED.

Timings

  • Departure from Azaiba bus station at Muscat around 6:30 AM while reaching Abu Dhabi, UAE at around 3:40 pm.
  • From Abu Dhabi, departure time is around 10:45 AM, and arrival at Azaiba around 8:35 PM.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the bus through the route of Mwasalat got cancelled but residents are still allowed to avail the bus services via Al Khanjry Transport. While going to Dubai to Oman by car is a convenient way it requires a lot of energy and can be expensive at times.
