Significance of Each Prayer
Fajr – The Pre-Dawn Prayer

Hayya 'ala al-Falah (Come to success)

La ilaha illallah (There is no deity but Allah)
For Fajr, the following is added:
"as-salatu khayrum minan-nawm" (Prayer is better than sleep)
Preparation for Salah – Wudu (Ablution)
Before one performs Salah, wudu (ablution) has to be performed in order to purify oneself. Wudu includes:
- Washing of hands, mouth, and face
- Rinsing of the nose
- Washing of head, arm, and feet
